Rule of thumb: start production in Pakistan about three months before a peak, and have stock abroad (or listings live with stock ready to ship) four to eight weeks before it. Islamic dates below are estimates for 2027 from astronomical calculations and will be confirmed by moon sighting; in Pakistan and in some diaspora communities the date can fall a day later than in the Gulf.

Ramadan 2028 is expected to start roughly 11 days earlier than in 2027, in late January 2028, so Ramadan stock for 2028 needs to be in production by October 2027.
Long seasons and harvests
- Wedding season (about November to February): peak for Pakistani weddings and for diaspora weddings timed around winter holidays. Drives bridal jewellery, khussas, mehndi outfits, groomsmen waistcoats and favours.
- Western winter gifting (October to December): shawls, knitwear, leather jackets and gifts. Our research found US searches for pashmina peak from October to December and for yak wool in December.
- Back to school: US schools return from August into early September; UK schools in early September. Sports kits, gis, dissection kits, dorm bedding and stationery.
- Mango season: Sindhri ripens first, from about mid-May, and Chaunsa runs into late August or early September. In 2026 the export programme was reported to start on 1 June rather than around 20 May, so check the government's export start date each year. US imports need irradiation under APHIS rules, so most small sellers target the UK and Gulf.
- Apricot harvest: June to July at lower altitudes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, July to August in the higher Hunza and Baltistan valleys, with sun-drying continuing after picking. New-crop dried apricots reach buyers in autumn.
- Dates harvest: TDAP gives a July to September window for fresh dates from Khairpur, Panjgur and D.I. Khan (Aseel, Begum Jangi, Dhakki); Khairpur's harvest begins around late June to July. Because Ramadan 2027 is in February, gift boxes use the 2026 crop.

What the search data shows
From our November 2026 research using Google Ads search volumes (DataForSEO, US and UK):
- "Ramadan decorations" reached about 60,500 searches in February 2026 in both the US and the UK, so Ramadan products must be listed by November to December.
- US searches for "pakistani clothes" peaked at about 8,100 in March 2026, the Eid month; Peshawari chappal searches peaked in the same month.
- Papier-mâché Christmas ornaments averaged about 1,300 US searches a month but about 6,600 in November.
Because the Islamic calendar moves about 11 days earlier each year, Ramadan and Eid peaks shift every year; recheck dates each autumn.
How to use the calendar
- Pick the one or two peaks that matter most for your niche. Use the Niche Finder or browse religious and cultural items, embroidered clothing or home décor and handicrafts.
- Count back: listings live four to eight weeks before, production about three months before, samples and photos before that. The 12-week launch plan fits neatly in front of a peak.
- Ask makers early. Wedding season and Eid also fill Pakistani workshops, so lead times stretch before them.
- Check courier cut-offs for Christmas and duty rules before peak months; see duties, costs and risks.
- For food items such as dates, mangoes and dry fruits, check import rules first in the compliance checklist.
Islamic dates are estimates as of 1 November 2026 and depend on moon sighting. Harvest timing varies with weather. Check again before you commit production.
