Short answer (as of November 2026): Etsy is the easiest marketplace for handmade and designed goods from Pakistan, with payouts through Payoneer. Amazon accepts seller registrations from Pakistan and suits standardised products, usually through FBA. eBay pays Pakistani sellers through Payoneer. Daraz is for selling inside Pakistan. TikTok Shop does not accept Pakistan-based sellers, and Instagram and Facebook now send shoppers to your own website to pay. Start on one channel, prove the product, then add a second.
Channels compared
| Channel | Main fees (as of Nov 2026) | Payouts to Pakistan | Best for | Watch-outs |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Etsy | $0.20 listing, 6.5% transaction, 6.5% + $0.30 processing for Pakistan bank accounts; Offsite Ads 15% (12% for larger shops) on attributed sales | Yes: Etsy Payments to Payoneer in USD every Monday, then to your Pakistani bank | Handmade, designed, vintage, digital, personalised | Creativity Standards (no reselling bought-in goods as handmade); reserves on new shops |
| Amazon | Professional plan $39.99 a month or $0.99 per item sold; referral fees by category (many 8 to 15%); FBA fees | Not to a PKR bank account directly; sellers use a payment service provider with a USD account, such as Payoneer | Standardised products with steady demand: salt, sports, leather basics, textiles, instruments | Category approvals, FBA logistics and stock risk, strict account verification |
| Amazon Handmade | Professional plan fee waived after the first month once approved; referral fee 15% or $0.30 per unit, whichever is greater | As Amazon | Artisan goods | Application-based; Pakistan eligibility for Handmade not confirmed |
| eBay | Final value fee by category plus a per-order fee; check eBay's current fee table | Yes: eBay managed payments to Payoneer in USD | Collectables, specimens, kilts and regalia, knives, instruments, used and niche goods | New-account selling limits; identity and Payoneer details must match exactly or accounts are suspended |
| Daraz | Commission by category, shown in Seller Center | Domestic: rupee payouts to a Pakistani bank | Testing products and building reviews inside Pakistan | Not an export channel; Daraz's cross-border program brings goods in, mainly from China |
| Faire (wholesale) | Commission on orders; check Faire's brand terms | Not confirmed for Pakistan-based brands | Gift and décor brands selling to independent shops | Brands are approved case by case and location is a factor |
| Alibaba.com | Annual supplier membership; Pakistan pricing via Alibaba's channel partner | B2B payments through banks or Alibaba's trade services | Factories and exporters with MOQs: leather, sports, textiles, salt, instruments | Upfront membership cost; many low-price inquiries; samples and MOQs needed |
| Own store | Platform subscription, apps, payment gateway fees, your own marketing | Through Pakistani bank gateways, Payoneer invoices or bank transfer | Brands, custom orders, repeat buyers, B2B | Stripe, PayPal, Shopify Payments and Payoneer Checkout not available to Pakistan-registered businesses; you must bring the traffic |
| Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest | Free to post; ads paid | Not applicable: sales happen on your store, a marketplace or by invoice | Visual crafts, making-of videos, diaspora buyers | Meta Shops use website checkout; DMs and bank transfers are hard to scale |
| TikTok Shop | Not available to Pakistan-based sellers | No | Use TikTok for content and traffic instead | Avoid paid offers of a "TikTok Shop Pakistan account" |
| Trade fairs and TDAP | Stand, travel and sample costs; TDAP programmes can help | Bank transfer against invoices or letters of credit | Larger repeat B2B orders | Slow sales cycle; needs samples, price lists and capacity |

Etsy
Pakistan is on Etsy's list of countries eligible for Etsy Payments, through a Payoneer account linked to a Pakistani bank. You open the shop in your own name and address. Etsy is the best fit for Pakistani crafts, embroidery, jewellery and gems, personalised leather and digital patterns, because buyers come looking for handmade and unique items. Everything you list must be made, designed, handpicked (vintage) or sourced (craft supplies) by you. Full setup, fees and tips: how to sell on Etsy from Pakistan.
Amazon
Amazon added Pakistan to the countries accepted for seller registration in May 2021, and a Pakistani guide that checked Amazon's help page on 9 October 2026 reports that it is still listed. You register on Seller Central with your ID, bank details and a credit card; one account made on sell.amazon.com can sell in the US, Canada, Mexico and Brazil stores, according to the same guide. Amazon does not pay out to Pakistani rupee bank accounts directly, so sellers usually receive USD through a payment service provider such as Payoneer and withdraw to their bank.
- Fees: a Professional plan at $39.99 a month or an Individual plan at $0.99 per item sold, plus referral fees that vary by category (many between 8 and 15%), plus FBA fulfilment and storage if Amazon ships for you.
- How Pakistani sellers usually sell: ship stock in bulk to Amazon FBA or a 3PL in the US or UK, so buyers get fast domestic delivery and you avoid the duty on every single parcel. See unit economics for the salt-lamp FBA example.
- Watch-outs: some categories need approval (for example supplements, which also need third-party testing); listings that copy brands get removed; account verification problems can freeze funds.
- Amazon Handmade is a separate, application-based programme for artisans, with less competition than main Amazon. Once approved, the monthly Professional fee is waived after the first month and the referral fee is 15% or $0.30 per unit, whichever is greater. We could not confirm whether Pakistan-based makers can be accepted; check Amazon's Handmade application page.
eBay
Sellers based in Pakistan can sell on eBay, and payouts from eBay managed payments go to a Payoneer account in US dollars, which you then withdraw to your Pakistani bank. Your eBay account name, address and ID must match your Payoneer account exactly; mismatches are a common reason new accounts from Pakistan are suspended, and a suspension can spread to other accounts with the same details. New accounts start with selling limits that rise with good history. eBay suits collectables and mineral specimens, Damascus knives and blanks, kilts and regalia, bagpipes, equestrian goods and other niche items where buyers search by item type. Fees are a final value fee that depends on the category plus a per-order fee; check eBay's current fee page for the site you list on.
Daraz
Daraz is Pakistan's largest online marketplace and the easiest way to test a product, build reviews and earn rupees at home, for example northern dry fruits sold to Karachi and Lahore. Daraz takes a commission that depends on the product category; you see the current rates in Seller Center. Daraz also runs a cross-border "Global Collection" that brings in goods, mainly from sellers in China, for buyers in its South Asian markets. We found no route for Pakistani sellers to export through it, so treat Daraz as a domestic channel.
Faire and wholesale marketplaces
Faire connects brands with independent shops, and its retailer network covered nearly 35 countries after an August 2025 expansion. Brands apply and are approved case by case; Faire says it considers a brand's location, products and existing business. Pakistani-made onyx bathroom sets were seen on Faire in our research, but we could not confirm that a brand based in Pakistan can be accepted and paid directly. If you want to try, apply with strong photos and wholesale prices, and ask Faire support about payouts for your country before you build around it.
Alibaba.com
Alibaba.com is for B2B: factories and exporters selling in bulk to overseas businesses. Alibaba launched a Verified Supplier membership in Pakistan in 2023 with SGS doing the checks, and a lower-cost Global Gold Supplier-Lite package for Pakistani SMEs in 2024. Membership is an annual fee sold through Alibaba's channel partner in Pakistan; ask for the current price. It works best for Sialkot leather, sports goods, gloves, textiles, salt and instruments, where you can meet minimum order quantities and send samples. Expect many low-price inquiries and budget time to qualify buyers.
Your own store (Shopify, WooCommerce, Adobe Commerce)
Your own store keeps the margin, the customer list and the brand, and it is your back-up if a marketplace closes your shop. The catch is payments: as of November 2026, Stripe, Shopify Payments, PayPal and Payoneer Checkout are not available to Pakistan-registered businesses. Options that work include card gateways from Pakistani banks and payment providers (ask whether international cards and foreign-currency settlement are enabled), Payoneer receiving accounts and payment requests for custom and B2B orders, and bank transfer against pro-forma invoices. You also have to bring the traffic, through search, social media, email and ads. See build your export store.
- Shopify: quickest to launch; uses third-party payment providers in Pakistan.
- WooCommerce: low running cost and full control on your own hosting.
- Adobe Commerce (Magento): for larger catalogues, B2B price lists and several currencies or store views.
Social commerce: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest
- Instagram and Facebook: Meta moved Shops on Facebook and Instagram to website checkout from September 2025, so a tagged product sends the buyer to your own site to pay. Use them as a shop window and for making-of videos, then take payment on your store, on a marketplace or by invoice.
- TikTok Shop: as of November 2026 we found no official launch for sellers based in Pakistan, and a Pakistani commerce company's August 2026 guide says Pakistan-based sellers can't use it. TikTok is still useful for content that sends viewers to your Etsy shop or website. Be wary of anyone selling a "TikTok Shop Pakistan account".
- Pinterest: strong for décor, wedding and gift ideas; pins link to your listings or store.
Video of the making process builds trust: a camel-skin lamp being painted, a chappal stitched, apricots drying on Hunza rooftops.
B2B: trade fairs, TDAP and direct outreach
For leather, sports goods, textiles, salt, instruments and décor for hotels and cafés, the biggest orders come from businesses. Build a catalogue with photos, specifications, MOQs and lead times, then reach buyers through LinkedIn, sector directories, samples and trade fairs. The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) runs exporter support and trade-fair programmes; check its website for upcoming events and support schemes. B2B buyers usually pay import duty themselves and one shipment carries the whole order, which is why the guide's custom-patch example earns 33%.
How to choose
- Handmade, designed or personalised, light enough to post: start on Etsy, add your own store later.
- Standardised product with proven demand: Amazon with FBA or a 3PL, once you can fund bulk stock.
- Collectables, specimens, niche gear: eBay alongside Etsy.
- Factory capacity and MOQs: Alibaba.com, trade fairs and direct outreach.
- Testing at home first: Daraz and local social media.
Compare the money side in unit economics, check rules in the compliance checklist and duties in duties, costs and risks. Each category page lists the channels that suit it, for example leather goods, sports goods, precision instruments, home décor and handicrafts and food and dry fruits.
